Upmarket department store Isetan, in the Shinjuku ward of Tokyo, is a popular haunt of Tokyo’s affluent fashion-conscious youth. For a fortnight this February it is running an exhibition “a mix of Styles.” ercol, through our distributor Daniel, have a number of displays as part of this exhibition.
We also have a permanent presence in Isetan, through British fashion designer Margaret Howell. It was Margaret who encouraged us to reintroduce some of our, and her, favourites from our back-catalogue, which now form the ercol Originals. These are now on sale in Margaret Howell stores, as well as elsewhere.
