ercol at The Bishopsgate Kitchen

Just a stone’s throw for Liverpool Street Station and opposite the RBS offices, lies the Bishopsgate Kitchen, a vibrant modern restaurant with a backdrop of an old brick façade, having been cleverly created by enclosing the space in front of the old building.  This is part of Benugo, a group with a range of high quality restaurants and eateries, including in many of our most admired and inspiring museums and public places.

Benugo selected ercol’s 392 stacking chair in our traditional finish as one of two chairs used throughout the restaurant.  The 392 stacking chair was first launched in the 1950s and was designed by ercol’s founder, Lucian Ercolani.  It now forms part of our Originals range – a small collection of some of our most cherished designs from our back catalogue, lovingly reissued.
