ercol studios reflect the premier displays of ercol furniture in the best settings. We have been busy working with a selection of our retailers converting their displays to studios, where the breadth of our furniture ranges can be seen, displayed in a lifestyle environment.
Peter Green are an independent family business based in the South of England, that have been selling high quality furniture for over fifty years. They pride themselves on quality – of their furniture, of service and of delivery. We recently installed a studio in their 
Chandlers Ford store and this proved so popular we quickly followed it with another at their Reading store.
Leekes are a dynamic, independent furniture retailer, based in Wales and Wiltshire, that expanded last year in the West Midlands. Their stores offer a wide range of products for the home and garden. The company started in 1897, selling ironmongery and hardware from the front room of the family’s small terraced house. Now it has grown to seven stores and a number of concessions. We’ve recently installed studios in four of those stores – Melksham in Wiltshire, Bilston in the West Midlands, Llantrisant and Cross Hands in Wales.
Most recently, we have just finished an extensive studio in Gardiner Haskins in Bristol. This premier retailer began business in 1823, becoming a limited company in 1893. You can see a broad range of our furniture here, including our recently introduced Isola upholstery range. Tired of shopping (is that possible?), you can treat yourself to a revitalising afternoon tea in their Café Mezz.
Edward Tadros, our chairman, commented on the Studio programme: “this is an important step for ercol to showcase our furniture in an environment that best highlights the ranges. We are very proud to bring our new-look studio to customers throughout the UK.”
